CRAIGSLIST SAYS NO TO FREE SEX

Internet services site, Craigslist, has teamed up with upward to 40 state attournys, in an effort to stop prostitution on the site. Users are now required to proveide a phone number, as well as a credit card number to post an ad, in the "erotic services" section of the site.

I don't personally have any feelings about the change, I think its going to make things a bit more sane.

I think those sections, which users use for such activites as sex, should completely taken down.

What do you think???

Feel free to voice your opinion, and leave comments.

BALANCING A SENSE OF NORMALCY IN THE RAPIDLY GROWING WEB WORLD

Today I was sitting down, on my "thinking chair," and was pondering the direction of the internet in the forthcoming years. I mean the web is quickly becoming, if not already one of Americans primary sources for news, entertainment, information, and anything else you can think of.

I mean no one can doubt the fast growing developments, and many possibilities the wonderful web world offers, but things can get a bit out of hand. Literally!

I mean there's just so much, so fast. Information is great and all, but there's only so much one can take, while being bumbarded with so many different messages.

You have your blogs, your dot coms, and your social networking sites. Then it just evolves even more. With programs and apps like digg, delicious, twitter, permalink, flicker, drop.io and even widgets.

If your not staying on your net game, you could fall off.

I'm not saying all of this is a bad thing, its just a bit much.

Is this normal. I feel like were becoming robots. I mean my blackberry is pretty much my third arm (I can live on the sheer features alone). Seriously.

I predict in 2016, Americans will be able to vote via text, or RFID (radio-frequency identification), or something like that.

Obama pretty much had his internet, and tech game in place, which was a huge contributing factor in the election, as well in getting young, and more tech savvy Americans out to the polls.
They even deemed this election the first double screen election. with most of us moving back and forth from TV to computer screen.

If that's the case I would say it was a three screen election. I got a lot of the national poll results in real time via my blackberry courtesy of "Viigo".

So this is what I say to you all out there in web world.

...Step away from the screen, and just breath. The next few years will be intense.

...Exhale!

WHAT A GREAT SEGWAY!

This morning I was checking out kanye's blog, and was reading the comments(which I rearly do). As I was strolling the comments section, to see what people was saying about kanye's "Obama wins" post, this is what I stumbled across...

"Rosa Parks sat so Martin could walk, Martin walked so Obama could run, Obama is running so we could all fly"tonight i am soaring i have witnessed history! "

Pretty clever if you ask me!

Now let's fly!

LEONARDO DICAPRIO FOR OBAMA

Digg this. So I was checking out a new widget/app on my blackberry, and was trolling all the cool features.

The app in particular is called "Viggo.". It has cool rss feeds, news, and even poll results, all in real time.

So, I was checking out some of the articles there, in the entertainment section, and stumbled across this head line.

"LEO PREMIERS IN PARIS WITH OBAMA ON THE BRAIN"

""I've my fingers crossed that he will win because I think he'll make some dramatic changes in our country that we're looking for, but the rest of the world is as well." Even in a foreign country, Leo will probably be glued to the computer and TV screens like the rest of us so hopefully he knows which states to keep an eye on"
VIA VIGGO MOBILE.

BIGG UPS TO THE TEAM OVER AT VIGGO. GOOGLE THEM, THERE HOT!

CALLING IT EARLY: OBAMA GRACES THE OVAL OFFICE

I have to. Her love has to call it asit is. Barack Obama will be the first African American presedent in our country's history.

Obama will be taking a seat to take charge, and take a stand to create change.

It's the hope that all American citizens wish for. No matter race, creed, gender, or sexual orientation.

If everyone can't see this, then what rock have we been living under.

Out with the old, and in with the new!

YOUNG BOY EVOKES CONTROVERSY OVER JESUS COSTUME

Besides all the madness of the most popular presidential mask this past Halloween. One headline has stired quite a controversy.

A young boy who chose to dress as "Jesus", for halloween was dismissed from his school, and was told that he was being disruptive to the educational process.

No other students were dismissed.

I don't believe it should have been handled this way. I think this is a prime example of religion vs education.

But its all in good light. I guess the school forgot it was Halloween.

Another more familiar icon also chose to dress up as a religious figure. Diddy, decided to dress up as "The Pope", and also had four alter boys following him, blessing everyone they passed.

Sounds like people are adding a religious flare, in the midst of our hard economic times.

So I guess a higher faith does trump all.
